#The gunk upgrades upgrade
Not an overly hard one, but I almost missed it and it should be clear in your mind if you got it or not since you only recently finished the game. Game gives you way more upgrade materials than you will be able to spend-was hoping for a chance to upgrade vacuum/run speed etc multiple times but nope, just the once. To reach the location where the rubble is you first need to grab a Mycelium Coil seed from where you originally grew mushrooms to get to the statue of the gardener and take it to a hidden corner where there is a pool to grown another mushroom that will allow you to use the platforms above to reach the resources behind the rubble.ĥ) Old City/The Garden (not sure if you can teleport and go downstairs from the garden) You can use that bulb to unlock a quicker exit from the area, and if you look off the side of the bridge you can see a second pile of rubble you can destroy. There’s even some light, dodgeball-style combat where you suck up an enemy then fire them as a projectile, but it’s more. If your facing the front of the gardener statue with the switch chain, behind you and above is a Mulligan Melon explosive bulb you can shoot down. It has scanning and suit upgrades, but it’s not a Metroid Prime homage. In the area where you unlock the right button for the door near the teleporter
Right near the teleporter behind the statue of the Gardener is a gap you can crawl through to get into a cave area with a few resources. Music is repetitive and fails to enhance the scene Characters are bland and non-relatable. Actors are mispronouncing words and there is no sense of dialogue, just 'snippets'. Not sure how I missed it the first time round (got my last 2 stone here), but at the point right after where you grow your second set of mushrooms and jump up them, on the right is a pathway that leads up to an area with a bunch of resources, and a view of your ship from above. Upgrades seem useless and Im not motivated to even read the descriptions Voice direction is non-existent. (Not really hidden, but I remember it being stone resource which your after) after going through the first cave looking for resources, instead of going left and down the mushroom ladder, go right instead and one of those piles of stone with metal sticking out of it will be there. Take off the paper towel and do some more.
